[SAA News] ISO Convention Announceme​nts

Dear Friend in Recovery,

The following email contains information regarding: (1) Convention Travel
Reminder, (2) Deadlines for Delegate Business Motions, (3) Convention
Presenters Needed, and (4) Convention Champions Needed.

1. Convention Travel
====================

If you are attending the upcoming convention, please make your travel
arrangements soon!

• Airfare will increase substantially as we get closer to the convention.
• Our special hotel rates are only guaranteed for a limited time.
• Register with us as soon as possible to get the best prices.
• Meals must be purchased by May 1st.

2. Deadlines for Delegate Business Motions
==========================================

If you are going to be a Delegate for your group at the upcoming
Conference, please remember that all New Business Motions must be
submitted to the ISO office by March 31st.

Also, your Delegate Certification fee needs to be paid by May 1st to get
the cheaper rate.

Everything you need to be a Delegate may be found inside the “Call to
Conference” attached to this e-mail.

3. Convention Presenters Needed
===============================

We still have plenty of positions available for Convention Speakers and
Workshop Presenters.

The deadline of March 31st may be extended to allow more time for those of
you who would like to be a speaker or put on a recovery workshop.

Please consider sharing your experience, strength, and hope with us at the
Convention.

For those who have never put on workshops in the past, please don’t be
shy.  And for those who have presented before, come on back!  Your
recovery experience and wisdom is valued and appreciated.

We have attached Convention Speaker and Workshop Proposal forms to this
e-mail.

4. Convention Champions Needed
==============================

Even if you can’t attend, you can still help us make this a successful
Convention!

Please consider being a Vancouver Convention Champion.

A Convention Champion is someone who helps us get the word out.  Please
consider telling your group members and recovery friends about the
upcoming Convention.

Even if you can’t go yourself, you may know someone who would love to go,
who hasn’t heard about it yet.

We have attached a Vancouver Champion flyer to this e-mail.  It has
everything you need to help us get the word out.
